God & His Word

The foundation of our faith.

01The Bible

We believe the Bible is the divinely inspired Word of God, written by human authors under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is God’s infallible truth, without any mixture of error in its original language, and remains relevant for every generation. The Bible is our supreme authority for faith and daily living.

(2 Timothy 3:16-17)

02The Trinity

We believe in one God who exists eternally in three persons: the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit. Each member of the Trinity is distinct in function, yet equal in power, authority, and divinity.

(Genesis 1:26; 2 Corinthians 13:14)

03The Father

God the Father is Creator and Ruler of the universe. He is all-powerful, all-knowing, ever-present, unchanging, holy, and completely trustworthy. As our loving Father, He is compassionate and faithful to His promises.

(Psalm 90:2; Acts 17:28; James 1:17)

04The Son – Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ is both fully God and fully man. He lived a sinless life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of humanity through His death on the cross. He rose again on the third day, demonstrating victory over sin and death, ascended into Heaven, and will return to reign as Lord of lords and King of kings.

(John 1:1-14; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4; Hebrews 4:14-15; Acts 1:9-11; Revelation 19:16)

05The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is co-equal with the Father and the Son. He convicts the world of sin, draws people to Christ, and indwells believers from the moment of salvation. He guides, teaches, comforts, empowers for Christian living, bestows spiritual gifts, and transforms us into the likeness of Christ.

(John 14:16-17; Acts 1:8; Romans 8:9-11; Galatians 5:22-25)

Salvation & life in the Spirit

Grace, transformation, and the life of a believer.

06Humanity and Sin

Human beings are created in the image of God and are the crown of His creation. However, through the sin of Adam and Eve, humanity fell and became separated from God. Sin is rebellion against God’s law and results in both physical and spiritual death. All people are sinners in need of God’s grace and salvation.

(Genesis 1:26-27; Romans 3:23; Romans 5:12; Isaiah 59:1-2)

07Salvation

The sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross is the only means of salvation through the forgiveness of sins. Salvation is granted when individuals confess Jesus as Lord and believe in their hearts that God raised Him from the dead. By this confession of faith, they trust in the death and resurrection of Christ as the sufficient payment for their sins. This salvation is a free gift from God and cannot be earned through human effort, self-improvement, or good works. It must be received by faith.

(Ephesians 2:8-9; Romans 10:9-10; John 14:6; Titus 3:5)

08Baptism of the Holy Spirit

We believe that every believer is called to be filled with the Holy Spirit, which is a distinct and powerful experience that empowers the Christian for service and witness. The Spirit imparts gifts, reveals truth, and prepares the Church for Christ’s return.

(Acts 1:4-5, 8; Acts 2:1-4; John 16:13)

09Water Baptism

We believe every believer should follow Christ in water baptism as an outward testimony of the inward transformation of salvation. While not a requirement for salvation, baptism is a command of Jesus and symbolizes our identification with His death, burial, and resurrection.

(Matthew 28:19; Romans 6:4; Acts 2:38)

10Communion (The Lord’s Supper)

We believe in the regular observance of Communion as commanded by Christ. In partaking of the bread and the cup, believers remember the sacrifice of Jesus and proclaim His death until He comes again.

(Luke 22:19-20; 1 Corinthians 11:23-26)

11Healing

We believe that Jesus made healing available to every believer through His death on the cross and the shedding of His blood. That means that, as believers and joint heirs with Christ, we can experience complete healing in every area of our lives: physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

(Isaiah 53:4-5; Matthew 8:16-17; James 5:14-15)

03 / Our beliefs

The Church & our eternal hope

Our life together and our hope in Christ.

12The Church

The Church is the body of Christ, composed of all born-again believers. Empowered by the Holy Spirit, the Church is called to worship, fellowship, grow in discipleship, and spread the Gospel to the ends of the earth. The Church is not confined to a building but is expressed wherever God’s people gather.

(Ephesians 1:22-23; Acts 2:42-47; Matthew 28:19-20)

13Marriage

We believe marriage is a covenant ordained by God between one man and one woman. It is designed to reflect the relationship between Christ and His Church. While extending love and grace to all people, we affirm the biblical definition of marriage as the foundation for family and society.

(Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:4-6; Ephesians 5:22-32)

14Eternity

Human beings are created to live forever. We will either exist eternally separated from God in Hell, or eternally united with Him in Heaven through salvation in Christ. Eternal separation is the consequence of rejecting God’s grace, while eternal life is the reward of faith in Jesus Christ.

(John 3:16; Romans 6:23; Revelation 20:11-15; Matthew 25:46)

15The Return of Jesus Christ

We believe in the literal, visible return of Jesus Christ to earth. At His coming, believers will be united with Him forever, and unbelievers will face final judgment. Jesus will establish His Kingdom, bringing justice, peace, and eternal glory.

(Acts 1:11; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; Revelation 22:12)
